NBA: Sacramento 104, Houston 101

HOUSTON, April 6 (UPI) -- Samuel Dalembert had 21 points and 15 rebounds Tuesday to lead the Sacramento Kings past Houston 104-101.

The Kings led by as many as 12 points in the fourth quarter and held off a late charge by the Rockets for their second consecutive win.

Marcus Thornton scored 21 points, Tyreke Evans had 18 and DeMarcus Cousins turned in 15 points and 15 rebounds for Sacramento.

Kevin Martin led the Rockets with 30 points and Luis Scola added 18. Houston remained three games behind Memphis in the race for the eighth playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The fourth quarter began with Sacramento holding a 76-74 lead. The Kings stretched their advantage to 94-82 on a jumper by Jason Thompson midway through the period.

Houston responded with an 8-0 run and trailed 94-90 with 2:19 remaining. Dalembert's three free throws in the final 11 seconds kept the game out of reach.
