Perry named NHL's top weekly star

NEW YORK, April 4 (UPI) -- Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry was named the NHL's No. 1 star Monday after tallying eight points in the past week.

Perry notched three goals and five assists to bring his season totals to an NHL-best 47 goals and third-best 93 points.

Calgary Flames forward Jarome Iginla was named the No. 2 star and Buffalo Sabres rookie goaltender Jhonas Enroth earned the No. 3 star for the week ending Sunday.

Iginla had three goals and three assists and Enroth posted a 2-0-1 record with a 1.94 goals-against average and .936 save percentage.
