NBA: Golden State 99, Dallas 92

OAKLAND, Calif., April 3 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis shook off a sprained ankle and pumped in 32 points Saturday, fueling the Golden State Warriors' 99-92 victory over Dallas.

Ellis sustained the injury in the Warriors' Wednesday loss to Memphis and was listed as day-to-day, but showed few ill effects against the Mavericks, draining four 3-pointers and handing off five assists.

David Lee added 16 points and eight rebounds, and Dorell Wright provided 13 and six for Golden State, which downed Dallas for the first time in seven meetings.

The Mavericks, meanwhile, fell four games behind San Antonio in the race for the top seed in the Western Conference.

Shawn Marion scored 21 points to go with eight rebounds and Dirk Nowitzki was held to 16 points on 5-of-16 shooting for Dallas.
