CINCINNATI, April 3 (UPI) -- Ryan Hanigan homered twice and drove in four runs Sunday, powering the Cincinnati Reds to a 12-3 victory and a three-game sweep of Milwaukee.
Hannigan collected a career-high four hits and Brandon Phillips contributed three hits, including a three-run homer, as the Reds cruised to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2005.

Jonny Gomes also homered among his two hits and Bronson Arroyo (1-0) earned the victory with seven strong innings, during which he allowed three runs on six hits with five strikeouts.
The Brewers benefited from a solo homer and RBI double from Rickie Weeks while Ryan Braun also went deep in the loss.
Milwaukee's Randy Wolf (0-1) was battered for six runs on 10 hits over four innings.
