NBA: Dallas 94, Utah 77

SALT LAKE CITY, March 26 (UPI) -- Jason Terry scored 22 points -- 10 in the fourth quarter -- in the Dallas Mavericks' 94-77 win over Utah.

The Jazz carried a two-point lead into the fourth quarter but the Mavericks won the period 36-17 to put away their third straight win and get within one fame of the Los Angeles Lakers for the second seed in the Western Conference.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 points and Shawn Marion had 13 for Dallas, which shot 65 percent in the fourth quarter, including 4-for-4 from 3-point range.

Al Jefferson scored 21 points for the Jazz but was ejected after picking up his second technical foul with 48.5 seconds left to play. C.J. Miles had 16 points and Paul Millsap scored 15 for Utah, which has lost five straight games and sits in 11th place in the Western Conference, 4 1/2 behind eighth-place Memphis.
