COL BKB: Ohio State 71, Penn State 60

INDIANAPOLIS, March 13 (UPI) -- William Buford netted 18 points for Ohio State Sunday and the top-ranked Buckeyes cruised past Penn State 71-60 in the Big 10 Tournament title game.

Jon Diebler ended with 15 points and six rebounds, and freshman Jared Sullinger contributed 15 and 11 boards for the Buckeyes (32-2), who repeated as conference champions.

Diebler was accurate from long range, going 3-of-5 from 3-point territory as the No. 1-seeded Buckeyes earned an automatic NCAA Tournament berth while appearing in their fifth Big Ten title game in six years.

Talor Battle pumped in 24 points for the Nittany Lions (19-14), who reached their first-ever Big Ten title game after downing Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan State.
