NHL: Montreal 3, Pittsburgh 0

PITTSBURGH, March 12 (UPI) -- Carey Price collected his eighth shutout of the year Saturday, backstopping the Montreal Canadiens' 3-0 victory over Pittsburgh.

Price improved to 33-22-6 on the season and withstood three Pittsburgh power plays in the Canadiens' sixth in seven games.

Montreal's Michael Cammalleri contributed a goal and an assist while Tomas Plekanec and Travis Moen also scored.

The Canadiens chased Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury in the second period after roughing him up for three goals on 12 shots.

Brent Johnson relieved, stopping all eight shots he faced as Pittsburgh dropped its seventh game in 10 contests.
