MONTERREY, Mexico, March 6 (UPI) -- The two top seeds, Jelena Jankovic and Anastasia Pavlychenkova, will meet for the championship of the Monterrey Open after both posted semifinal wins Saturday.
Top-seeded Serb Jankovic, a former world No. 1, dispatched eighth-seeded Polona Hercog of Slovenia 6-3, 6-2 in one semifinal.

Meanwhile, defending champ and No. 2 seed Pavlychenkova of Russia topped Gisela Dulko of Argentina 6-4, 6-1 on the hard courts at Sierra Madre Tennis Club.
Jankovic and Pavlychenkova have had one previous meeting -- Pavlychenkova bested Jankovic 6-4, 6-4 in the second round of the 2009 Indian Wells tournament.
