COL BKB: Kansas 70, Missouri 66

COLUMBIA, Mo., March 5 (UPI) -- Marcus Morris had a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds in No. 2 Kansas' 70-66 win over 22nd-ranked Missouri at Columbia Saturday.

Morris was one of four Kansas (29-2, 14-2 Big 12) players who doubled up for the Jayhawks, who go into the Big 12 tournament as the top seed.

Thomas Robinson finished the game with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Tyrel Reed and Markieff Morris both had 10 points and 11 boards.

Laurence Bowers led Missouri (22-9, 8-8) with 22 points and 10 rebounds and Marcus Denmon scored 19.

Missouri was 17-0 at home this season but shot a meek 29.8 percent from the field, including 3-of-22 from 3-point range.

Kansas led 32-31 at halftime and needed three Reed free throws in the final 26 seconds to hold off the tenacious Tigers.
