NBA: Phoenix 102, Milwaukee 88

MILWAUKEE, March 4 (UPI) -- Mickael Pietrus, seeing playing time in place of the injured Vince Carter, scored 20 points Friday to help bring the Phoenix Suns a 102-88 win over Milwaukee.

Carter missed the game because of dizziness after being involved in a collision with teammate Channing Frye during a loss to Boston Wednesday.

Frye was able to play and he scored 20 points to go with nine rebounds. Pietrus started and played 35 minutes in Carter's absence.

The Suns trailed by three points entering the third period but outscored Milwaukee by 16 in that quarter to take control.

Grant Hill added 14 points for Phoenix, which has won five out of six. Steve Nash contributed 13 assists.

Milwaukee was paced by 21 points from Corey Maggette. The Bucks have lost three out of four.
