NBA: Philadelphia 111, Minnesota 100

PHILADELPHIA, March 4 (UPI) -- Andre Iguodala led Philadelphia with his second triple-double of the season Friday and the 76ers pulled away late to defeat Minnesota 111-100.

Iguodala scored 22 points, grabbed 20 rebounds and had 13 assists in the sixth triple-double of his seven-year career.

Despite Iguodala's big effort, Minnesota stayed in the game and moved within one point of the 76ers when Wayne Ellington hit a jumper with 2:52 to play. The Timberwolves did not score another point.

Elton Brand added 21 points and Thaddeus Young had 16 off the bench to help Philadelphia win for the fifth time in six games.

The 76ers moved a game above .500 and are in seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Philadelphia has gone 28-17 after starting the season at 3-13.

Kevin Love led Minnesota with his 49th consecutive double-double. He scored 21 points to go with 23 rebounds.
