Love scored 20 points and grabbed 20 rebounds, helping Minnesota pull away in the fourth quarter after having a four-point cushion heading into the period.

Anthony Randolph, who came to Minnesota in the trade that sent Carmelo Anthony to New York last week, scored 19 points to go with 10 rebounds. It was his best game since he was acquired by the Timberwolves, who had lost eight of their previous nine games.

Austin Daye scored 22 points to lead the Pistons, losers of five out of six.
