NBA: Oklahoma City 111, LA Clippers 88

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Oklahoma City scored 33 points in the fourth quarter Tuesday and out-distanced the visiting Los Angeles Clippers 111-88.

Jeff Green led the Thunder with 22 points and Kevin Durant was right behind him with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Oklahoma City is 6-2 in its last eight games and led by as many as 26 Tuesday.

Blake Griffin returned to his hometown for the first time since turning pro two years ago and led Los Angeles with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Eric Bledsoe had 13 points for the Clippers, who are 2-7 on their 10-game road trip that started prior to the all-star break.

After the first quarter ended in a 23-23 tie, Oklahoma City erupted for 39 points in the second. They outscored the Clippers 33-21 in the fourth quarter to keep the game out of reach.
