Baddeley posts 2-shot Northern Trust win

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Aaron Baddeley shot a 2-under-par 69 Sunday to bypass Tom Couples and grab the championship of the Northern Trust Open by two shots.

Baddeley nailed down his third career PGA Tour win after catching up with and passing the two-time champion. Couples began Sunday's final round with three straight birdies but then played at a 5-over clip the rest of the way, tumbling into a tie for seventh place.
