NBA: Portland 105, Detroit 100

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge struck for 36 points and Wesley Matthews added 26 Sunday, powering the Portland Trail Blazers past Detroit 105-100.

Aldridge connected on 12-of-17 shots from the field and went 12-of-13 at the free-throw line. Matthews, meanwhile, collected four 3-pointers and seven rebounds for Portland, which racked up its fourth consecutive win overall and sixth straight over Detroit.

Andre Miller contributed 15 points and 12 assists despite making nine turnovers for the Blazers.

Ben Gordon popped in 18 points and Tracy McGrady added 16 points and five assists for the Pistons, who lost at home for the third straight time.
