CLEVELAND, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Antawn Jamison's 35 points Friday brought Cleveland a 126-119 overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers and ended the longest losing streak in NBA history.
Cleveland had lost 26 games in a row, breaking the previous record by three. The Cavaliers had not won since downing the New York Knicks Dec. 18.
Mo Williams, playing for the first time since Jan. 15, hit a jumper with 6 seconds to go in regulation to give Cleveland a chance in overtime and Jamison's 3-pointer with 22 seconds left in the extra period gave the Cavaliers a four-point lead.
Jamison made 11-of-20 from the field and 9-of-13 from the foul line to spark a 50 percent shooting effort by the Cavaliers.
J.J. Hickson added 27 points with 14 rebounds and Williams had 15 after missing almost a month with a sprained hip.
The Clippers were led by 32 points from Blake Griffin.
