NHL: Calgary 5, Ottawa 2

CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Tim Jackman started and ended Calgary's offensive show Wednesday that sent the Flames coasting by Ottawa 5-2.

The Senators dropped their 11th straight game, equaling the longest losing streak in franchise history. Ottawa also lost 11 in a row 15 years ago. The Senators have just one win in their last 18 games.

Jackman tipped in a shot by Niklas Hagman to open the scoring, but the Senators came back to take a 2-1 lead after the first period on goals by Chris Kelly and Chris Campoli.

Calgary dominated the rest of the way, producing four unanswered goals beginning when Olli Jokinen scored on the power play with 6:18 to go in the second. Jackman finished off the scoring with another power-play tally that came with 4:22 left in the third period.

The Flames have won two straight and eight out of nine.

Miikka Kiprusoff picked up the victory with 24 saves. Robin Lehner stopped 30 shots for the Senators.
