NHL: Calgary 3, Chicago 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 22-of-23 shots and the Calgary Flames earned a point in their eighth straight game Monday with a 3-1 victory over Chicago.

Calgary's tough defense made it easier for Kiprusoff, who had to face only three shots in the first period. He turned aside four Blackhawks power plays and improved to 23-18-3 on the year with the win.
