NBA: LA Lakers 101 New Orleans 95

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant teamed for 66 points Saturday and guided the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-95 win over the New Orleans Hornets.

Gasol had a double-double, finishing with 34 points and 10 rebounds. Bryant had a solid all-around game with 32 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

Andrew Bynum added another 12 points and seven boards for the Lakers, who have won two of their last three games.

The Hornets are on a downward spiral, losing for the fourth time in five games despite getting 21 points and 15 assists from Chris Paul and a 16-point, 12-rebound performance from David West.
