COL BKB: Connecticut 61, Seton Hall 59

NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Kemba Walker scored 19 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer late in the game, and No. 7 Connecticut held off Seton Hall 61-59 Saturday.

Jeremy Lamb added 10 points for the Huskies (18-4, 6-4 Big East), who overcome a 14-point, second-half deficit and avoided becoming the Pirates' second Top 10 upset victim in 11 days.

Connecticut held Seton Hall without a field goal over an 8-minute span late in the second half and downed the Pirates for the 11th straight time, snapping a two-game losing streak.

Seton Hall (10-14, 4-8) got 20 points from Jeremy Hazell, but he couldn't connect on a potential tying basket in the closing seconds.

Jeff Robinson added 15 points in the loss.
