COL BKB: Connecticut 76, Marquette 68

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Jeremy Lamb scored 24 points Tuesday and Kemba Walker added 14 in No. 5 Connecticut's 76-68 win over Marquette.

Lamb was 3-of-4 from 3-point range in the sixth consecutive victory for the Huskies (17-2, 5-2 Big East).

Roscoe Smith scored 11 points and had eight of Icon's 37 rebounds.

Marquette (13-8, 4-4) had 21 points from Jimmy Butler and 18 from Darius Johnson-Odom.

The Huskies broke a 60-60 tie in the second half with an 8-0 run that put them in control down the stretch and sent the Golden Eagles to their third loss in their last four contests.
