NBA: Miami 109, Charlotte 97

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade put together his first triple-double of the season Friday in helping the Miami Heat win its fifth straight game, 109-97 over Charlotte.

Wade scored 22 points to go with 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Miami pulled away after leading by only two in the final minute of the third period.

LeBron James, one night after scoring an NBA season-high 51 points against Orlando, had 19 points to go with nine assists and eight rebounds. Eddie House came off the bench to score 16 points.

Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson combined to score more than half of Charlotte's points. Both had 25 and Wallace chipped in 10 rebounds.

House hit back-to-back 3-pointers to open the fourth quarter and begin Miami's domination of the final period. The Heat scored 31 points off 16 Charlotte turnovers.
