NBA: Charlotte 121, Golden State 113 (OT)

OAKLAND, Calif., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- D.J. Augustin scored nine of his 27 points in overtime Friday to complete a Charlotte rally that gave the Bobcats a 121-113 victory over Golden State.

Golden State led by as many as 16 points in the third period but the Bobcats came back to tie it when Stephen Jackson hit a 3-pointer with 3 seconds to go in regulation.

Charlotte then dominated the extra period, scoring 20 points in the 5-minute overtime and winning its third straight game to start a six-game road trip.

Jackson led the way with 31 points, helping the Bobcats improve to 11-6 since Coach Paul Silas took over for Larry Brown in December.

Golden State has lost four straight. Stephen Curry scored 27 points for the Warriors and both Dorell Wright and Monta Ellis had 21.

The Bobcats took charge in the overtime period by scoring seven straight points to grab a 112-105 lead with 2:10 to play.
