COL BKB: Nebraska 57, Texas A&M 48

LINCOLN, Neb., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Jorge Brian Diaz netted 16 points and Lance Jeter got hot late in the game Saturday, lifting Nebraska to a 57-48 win over No. 11 Texas A&M.

Diaz grabbed five rebounds and Jeter and Brandon Richardson added 10 points apiece for the Cornhuskers (15-5, 3-3 Big 12), which ended a three game losing streak to the Aggies.

Jeter's layup with 8 1/2 minutes to go pulled the Cornhuskers to within a point at 42-41 and, after Diaz gave them the lead for good with a layup 60 seconds later, he scored four of Nebraska's next six points en route to the victory.

Caleb Walker added nine points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals for the victors.

Nathan Walkup netted 13 points and Khris Middleton was held to 12 for Texas A&M (17-3, 4-2 Big 12).
