LAWRENCE, Kan., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Markieff Morris scored 20 points and Thomas Robinson added 17 Saturday for No. 6 Kansas, which roared past intrastate rival Kansas State 90-66.
Morris went 8-for-10 from the field and grabbed nine rebounds. Robinson also hauled down nine boards for the Jayhawks (20-1, 5-1 Big 12), who began the game with a 15-4 run and never looked back.

Tyshawn Taylor added 13 points, Josh Selby had 12 and Marcus Morris contributed 10 and nine rebounds for Kansas, which downed the Wildcats for the seventh straight time.
Jacob Pullen pumped in 21 points and Rodney McGruder scored 15 for the Wildcats (14-8, 2-5).
