SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Paul Millsap's two free throws finished off a late seven-point Utah run Friday that helped carry the Jazz to a 108-100 victory over Minnesota.
Utah ended a six-game losing streak and handed the Timberwolves their sixth straight loss. Minnesota has won just 10 of 46 games this season.
Luke Ridnour brought Minnesota within 92-91 by making a jump shot with 7:39 to play. Utah then ran off the next seven points while holding Minnesota scoreless for almost 4 minutes and the Timberwolves came no closer than five the rest of the way.
Millsap finished with 30 points to go with eight rebounds and six steals. Andrei Kirilenko had a season-best 27 for the Jazz, who forced 25 Minnesota turnovers.
Kevin Love had his 32nd straight double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead Minnesota. The Timberwolves have one win in their last 12 games.
