NEW YORK, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Mike Weaver got the game-winning goal midway through the third period Tuesday, propelling the Florida Panthers to a 4-3 victory over the New York Rangers.

The game-winner was the only shot on net launched in the final frame by Florida, which managed only 17 attempts on Lundqvist for the game.
Mike Santorelli added a goal and an assist while Rostislav Olesz also scored and defenseman Keaton Ellerby got his first career tally in Florida's win.
Tomas Vokoun turned aside 32-of-35 shots to record the win.
Derek Stepan, Brandon Prust and Brian Boyle found the net and Mats Zuccarello added three assists for the Rangers.
