Musgrave, a former NFL quarterback, comes to the Vikings after five seasons in Atlanta as the Falcons' quarterbacks coach, helping guide the team to a 13-3 record and the NFC's No. 1 seed in the playoffs.

Pagac, meanwhile, got a promotion after serving five seasons as the Vikings linebackers coach.

Also named to the Vikings' coaching staff was Mike Priefer, who takes over as special teams coordinator. Priefer, a nine-year NFL coaching veteran, comes to Minnesota from Denver where he was the Broncos' special teams' coordinator.
