PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Philadelphia's Evan Turner sank four key throws in overtime Monday and the 76ers edged the Charlotte Bobcats 96-92.
Andre Iguodala made a 19-foot shot with 37 seconds left in the extra frame to put the Sixers ahead for good at 92-90. Thaddeus Young followed with a steal, was fouled by Stephen Jackson and sank both foul shots for a four-point lead.
Matt Carroll's basket pulled the Bobcats to within two again with 8 seconds left, but two more Turner free throws iced the contest.
Lou Williams scored 23 points and Iguodala added 16 points and 10 rebounds for Philadelphia, which improved to 10-3 all-time against Charlotte at home.
Boris Diaw netted 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Kwame Brown added 15 points and 16 rebounds for the Bobcats.
