NBA: San Antonio 101, Dallas 89

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Tony Parker and DeJuan Blair combined to make 15-of-23 shots from the field Friday, leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 101-89 win over struggling Dallas.

The Mavericks played their ninth straight game without leading scorer Dirk Nowitzki, who originally was listed as day-to-day when he sprained a knee. Dallas is 2-7 without its star forward.

Blair had a season-high 18 points and collected 13 rebounds. Parker also scored 18 points to go with six assists, helping the Spurs to their 14th straight home win.

San Antonio has a 21-2 home record this season, best in the NBA.

Tim Duncan added 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Spurs, who will play their next three at home.

Dallas was led by Shawn Marion with 14 points.
