NHL: Boston 4, Pittsburgh 2

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Mark Recchi scored the go-ahead goal with 50 seconds remaining Monday, rallying the Boston Bruins to a 4-2 comeback win over Pittsburgh.

The Penguins' Jordan Staal was off on a holding penalty when Recchi scored on a rebound of a Michael Ryder shot during a scramble in front of the net, completing a late Bruins comeback from a 2-0 deficit.

Zdeno Chara and Brad Marchand tallied 11 seconds apart with less than 4 minutes remaining to forge a 2-2 tie and Gregory Campbell added an empty-netter for the Bruins, who won for the second time in six games.

Campbell, Patrice Bergeron and Daniel Seidenberg added two helpers each and Tuukka Rask turned aside 23-of-25 shots for the Bruins.

Michael Rupp and Kris Letang scored and Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves for the Penguins, who fell to 1-3-2 in their last six games.
