NBA: New Jersey 96, Chicago 94

NEWARK, N.J., Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Sasha Vujacic hit a jumper with 5.3 seconds remaining Wednesday to give the New Jersey Nets a 96-94 win and halt the Chicago Bulls' five-game winning streak.

New Jersey led by 13 early in the fourth period but the Bulls came back to tie it on a pair of free throws by C.J. Watson with 11 seconds left.

That set up the game-winning effort by Vujacic, who hit just 5-of-12 from the field for the game.

Kris Humphries scored 20 points with 11 rebounds off the bench for the Nets, who had dropped five straight. Devin Harris added 18 points, Brook Lopez had 14 and Vujacic produced 13.

Derrick Rose had 21 points for Chicago and Luol Deng had 17. It was only the third loss in 17 games for the Bulls.
