NFL: Chicago 38, New York Jets 34

CHICAGO, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Jay Cutler hooked up with Johnny Knox on a go-ahead, third-quarter touchdown Sunday and the Chicago Bears held on to defeat the New York Jets 38-34.

The Bears were clinging to the four-point lead late in the fourth quarter and the Jets were driving for a final shot at the win when Chris Harris intercepted a Mark Sanchez pass in the last minute to seal Chicago's win.

Cutler went 13-of-25 through the air, passing for three TDs and 215 yards while also running in a touchdown for the Bears (11-4), who won for the seventh time in eight games.

Knox made four catches for 92 yards, Matt Forte rushed 113 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries and Devin Hester added recorded a TD catch for the victors.

Mark Sanchez piled up 269 yards with a TD and interception for Jets (10-5), who secured a playoff berth despite the defeat thanks to Jacksonville's loss to Washington Sunday.

Dustin Keller made seven grabs for 79 yards in the Jets' loss.
