NHL: Pittsburgh 6, Phoenix 1

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby extended his point streak to 21 games Monday, notching a goal and two assists in the Pittsburgh Penguins' 6-1 romp over Phoenix.

Crosby, who leads the NHL in goals (27) and points (57), has scored 21 goals and dished out 21 helpers during his career-high streak.

Pittsburgh got two goals and three assists from Evgeni Malkin, and Kris Letang added a goal and a helper in the victory, which snapped a two-game losing skid.

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 26-of-27 shots for the victors.

Phoenix, which lost for the third time in four games, got its only goal from Wojtek Wolski.

Jason LaBarbera turned aside 17-of-22 shots before being replaced by Matt Climie, who notched 15 saves.
