Mike Ribeiro put Dallas in front on the power play with 6:31 to play in the second period and Mike Knuble tied it midway through the third.

Segal scored 20 seconds after Knuble's goal, putting a wrist shot past Michal Neuvirth. Segal's goal was his third of the season and the ninth in his 67-game career.

Neuvirth stopped 21 shots in the loss.
