COL BKB: Georgetown 82, N.C. State 67

CHARLESTON, S.C., Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Hollis Thompson scored 18 points for Georgetown Sunday and the No. 21 Hoyas used a hot-shooting second half to best North Carolina State 82-67.

The Hoyas (5-0) were leading by two points at 46-44 with 14 minutes to go in the second half when Charles Wright's 3-point play ignited an 11-0 run, capped by Jason Clark's 3-pointer, and Georgetown went on to win the 2010 Charleston Classic.

Wright contributed 15 points and eight assists, Austin Freeman chipped in with 17 points and Clark added 14 in the victory.

The Wolfpack (3-1) were led by Richard Howell's 14 points and seven rebounds and also got 11 points from Lorenzo Brown in the defeat.
