NHL: Calgary 7, Chicago 2

CALGARY, Alberta, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Jarome Iginla had a hat trick during Calgary's string of seven unanswered goals Friday, powering the Flames to a 7-2 decision over Chicago.

Chicago took a 1-0 lead in the first period and was then crushed by an offensive wave that overwhelmed goaltender Marty Turco.

The Flames took a 2-1 lead after the first period and Iginla scored twice in the second. Calgary then produced three goals in a span of 2:32 of the third, one of them coming on a slapshot by Iginla. He has six goals for the season.

Turco, who shut out Edmonton in his previous start, surrendered all seven goals on 36 shots. Miikka Kiprusoff got the win by making 33 saves.
