Stephen Jackson scored 30 for the Bobcats.

The Heat led by 21 just before the end of the second quarter but the Bobcats cut the lead to seven in the third, shooting 11-of-16 from the field -- and then pulled to within 82-80 after a 9-0 run midway through the fourth.

Sean Jackson had an opportunity to tie the score during the closing minutes but failed to connect on a 3-point shot and the Heat closed the door on Charlotte from there.
