NBA: New York 113, Sacramento 106

SACRAMENTO, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Amare Stoudemire and Danilo Gallinari both scored 27 points Wednesday and the New York Knicks ended a six-game losing streak by downing Sacramento 113-106.

Gallinari, in his third NBA season, came within three points of his career high, thanks to his making 16 free throws in 17 attempts.

The Knicks took the lead for good in the second period and built as much as a 13-point advantage in the fourth quarter.

Stoudemire made 11-of-19 from the field and the Knicks shot 52 percent as a team. Raymond Felton added 16 points.

Tyreke Evans led the Kings with 23 points, but they suffered their sixth straight defeat. Sacramento has only a 1-5 home record, tied with the Los Angeles Clippers for the worst in the league.
