NBA: Minnesota 113, LA Clippers 111

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Michael Beasley hit a jump shot with 2.3 seconds to play Wednesday, giving the Minnesota Timberwolves a 113-111 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Beasley's shot finished off a 33-point effort and boosted Minnesota's home record to 3-2. The Timberwolves have won just once in eight tries on the road.

Minnesota opened a nine-point advantage early in the fourth quarter, the largest advantage for either team during the entire game, but the Clippers came back to take a two-point lead on a field goal from Al-Farouq Aminu with 1:32 to play.

Corey Brewer made a jumper 18 seconds later to tie it and no one else could score until Beasley's game-winning shot. Rasual Butler missed a 3-pointer for the Clippers just before the buzzer.

Kevin Love added 24 points and 14 rebounds for Minnesota and Brewer had 14 points. The Clippers were led by Eric Gordon with 30 points and Blake Griffin with a career-high 26.

Los Angeles has played six road games this season and lost them all.
