COL BKB: Ohio State 93, Florida 75

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Jared Sullinger pumped in 26 points Tuesday, sparking No. 5 Ohio State to a 93-75 win over No. 10 Florida in a key early-season game.

Sullinger, hailed as one of the best incoming first-year players in college basketball, lived up to the hype Tuesday, making several slam-dunks in his 10-of-17 shooting performance and collecting 10 rebounds for the Buckeyes (2-0).

David Lighty scored 26 points, William Buford added 16 and Jon Diebler scored 14 for Ohio State, which shot a sizzling 62.9 percent from the field.

Kenny Boynton racked up five 3-pointers en route to a 21-point game for Florida (1-1).

Erving Walker added 15 points and Chandler Parsons contributed 13 in the Gators' defeat.
