Kim overtakes Pettersen for Ochoa title

GUADALAJARA, Mexico, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- In-Kyung Kim shot an 8-under-par 64 Sunday, overtaking third-round leader Suzann Pettersen to win the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Mexico.

Kim was knotted with Karine Icher, Ai Miyazato and Stacy Lewis in second place one shot behind Pettersen after 54 holes. But her fine round Sunday allowed Kim to claim the tourney by three strokes at 19-under 269.

It was her third career win on the LPGA Tour.

Pettersen finished second after posting a 4-under 68. Icher also shot a 68 to finish third at minus-15.

Cristie Kerr (66) and Paula Creamer (68) ended tied for fourth place at 14-under 274, one stroke better than Miyazato (70).
