NBA: Toronto 110, Orlando 106

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- A 3-pointer by Sonny Weems with 7.1 seconds left Friday broke a tie and boosted the Toronto Raptors to a surprising 110-106 victory over Orlando.

The Raptors won on the road for the first time in five tries this season and the victory came against the leading team in the Southeast Division.

Weems gave Toronto a 106-103 lead with his 3-pointer and after Orlando turned the ball over, Jose Calderon made two free throws for a five-point cushion with 6 seconds to play.

That allowed Orlando room to withstand a 3-pointer by Mickael Pietrus with 3 seconds left.

DeMar DeRozan produced 11 of his career-high 26 points in the final quarter for the Raptors and Andrea Bargnani scored 27. Toronto halted a six-game losing streak and won for just the second time this season.

Dwight Howard led the Magic with 25 points and Pietrus made 8-of-11 from 3-point range for 24 points.
