NBA: San Antonio 107, LA Clippers 95

SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Tony Parker's two free throws with 2:36 remaining Wednesday started a San Antonio outburst that led to a 107-95 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

San Antonio won its fifth straight and improved to 6-1 for the season. The only two teams with a better record than the Spurs are the unbeaten Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Hornets.

The Clippers trailed by 14 to start the fourth period, but closed within three and had the ball inside the 3-minute mark. Eric Bledsoe, however, missed a jumper for the Clippers, after which Parker made his foul shots to give the Spurs a five-point cushion.

San Antonio went on to finish the game on a 12-3 run.

Manu Ginobili and Richard Jefferson both scored 22 points to lead the Spurs and Parker had 21. San Antonio made 26 free throws to just eight for the Clippers and the Spurs hit 11-of-17 3-point attempts.

Rasual Butler scored 18 to lead the Clippers, who have lost four straight.
