NBA: Golden State 122, New York 117

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- David Lee scored 28 points Wednesday and his two free throws with 6 seconds remaining clinched Golden State's 122-117 win over New York.

Lee spent the first five seasons of his career with the Knicks, but was dealt to Golden State this summer for three players.

He was given a standing ovation when introduced prior to the game and he went on to have a big night that included 10 rebounds.

New York trailed by as many as 20 in the third period, but rallied to take a brief one-point lead down the stretch.

The Knicks were behind by just one after Amare Stoudemire hit a 3-pointer with 16 seconds left, but Monta Ellis hit two free throws for the Warriors and Wilson Chandler missed a 3-pointer for New York.

Lee followed that miss with his two foul shots that wrapped up Golden State's second win in a row. New York has lost three straight and has only one win at home this year in four games.

Stephen Curry added 25 points for the Warriors and Ellis had 22. Stoudemire led the Knicks with 33 points and 10 rebounds.
