LUXEMBOURG, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- No. 4-seeded Ana Ivanovic rolled through a second-round victory Thursday at the Luxembourg Open tennis tournament.

Ivanovic dumped Arantxa Para Santonja 6-4, 6-1, running her current match winning streak to seven after her tournament win last week in Austria. She's won 10 of her last 11 matches.

She'll go against eighth-seeded Julia Goerges in the quarterfinals Friday. They are the only seeded players left in the field.

Part of the reason for that was Polona Hercog's walkover win over No. 1-seeded Elena Dementieva, who said she couldn't play her second-round match because of foot inflammation.

Also Thursday, Angelique Kerber upset fifth-seeded Daniela Hantuchova 3-6, 6-3, 6-1. She took 66 percent of the third-set points and lost only four points on serve in that set.

Anne Keothavong defeated Patty Schnyder 7-5, 6-2 and Roberta Vinci eked out a 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 7-6 (7-2) decision over Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.

The quarterfinal pairings, in addition to the Ivanovic-Goerges match, are Hercog versus Kerber, Keothavong facing Iveta Benesova and Vinci going against Kirsten Flipkens.
