COL FB: LSU 33, Florida 29

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Terrence Toliver hauled down a 3-yard TD pass with 6 seconds left Saturday to hand No. 9 Louisiana State a 33-29 decision over No. 12 Florida.

The score came at the conclusion of a zany final drive that featured a fake field goal attempt. The controversial play triggered a lengthy official review to determine whether the first down LSU made on the play was legal.

The Tigers (6-0, 4-0 SEC) hung on to win after blowing a 12-point fourth-quarter lead, but Tolliver's second touchdown of the game ensured they would remain unbeaten.

LSU notched a 6-0 start for the first time since the team won a national championship over Ohio State in 2007.

Toliver ended with six catches for 111 yards and Steven Ridley ran 28 times for 83 yards in LSU's first victory in Gainesville since 2004.

Florida (4-2, 2-2) got 154 passing yards from John Brantley, who was hobbled by rib and hand injuries.

Trey Burton and Mike Gillislee each ran for a score in Florida's setback.
