MLB: Minnesota 5, Toronto 4

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Alexi Casilla's two-run single in the ninth inning Saturday lifted the Minnesota Twins to a 5-4 comeback victory over Toronto.

Trailing by a run coming into their final at-bat, Delmon Young led off with a double and, two outs later, Jason Kubel drew a walk off Kevin Gregg (2-6), with Ben Revere and Jason Repko coming in to pinch-run.

Jose Morales worked a walk off Gregg to load the bases and Casilla capped a long at-bat by grounding a 3-2 pitch up the middle, scoring both Revere and Repko and handing the American League Central champion Twins only their second win in nine games.

Casilla ended with a pair of hits and four RBI and Young drove in the other run for Minnesota.

Twins closer Matt Capps (2-0) collected the victory after tossing a scoreless top of the ninth.

Edwin Encarnacion belted his 20th home run for the Blue Jays, who became only the fifth team in major league history boasting seven players with 20 or more homers in a season.
