ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Omar Vizquel's go-ahead, seventh-inning single Sunday paced the Chicago White Sox to a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels and a three-game sweep.
Juan Pierre contributed a pair of hits, an RBI and two runs scored for the White Sox, who posted their seventh consecutive win over the Angels.

Tony Pena (5-2) pitched well in just his second career start, limiting the Angels to three runs on eight hits in six innings.
Jered Weaver (13-12) was touched for four runs (three earned) on eight hits through 6 2/3 innings for the Angels, who dropped their fourth in a row.
