MLB: Arizona 7, San Diego 2

PHOENIX, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Mark Reynolds smacked a pair of two-run homers Monday to highlight the Arizona Diamondbacks' 7-2 win over struggling San Diego.

Reynolds ended with five RBI and Miguel Montero contributed two hits and two runs driven in for the D-backs, who took the first of a three-game series at Chase Field.

Joe Saunders (2-4) got the win despite allowing 10 hits over eight innings, breaking a personal four-game losing streak.

Padres starter Wade LeBlanc (8-12) surrendered six runs and six hits in a three-inning start for the National League West-leading Padres, who dropped their fifth consecutive game.
